Coaching Philosophy
Leveraging my deep corporate experience and coach education I use the latest and best thought processes and tools that are based in practice and learning theory from Columbia University Coaching Certification Program. A coactive coaching approach that adheres to high levels of ethical standards with a laser focus on the client’s agenda and building commitment through involvement.
My coaching is centered on three areas:
Development-focused coaching – broadening individual capabilities beyond the current role for future roles. Building on competencies, preparing for new experiences of leaders
Performance-focused coaching: Changing individual’s behaviors or building new skills to improve performance in current role. Aligning leaders to their teams, peers and key stakeholders.
Career Coaching – Helping employees plan effective career steps and milestones, often for the retention of employees. Transitioning leaders to a new career laterally or horizontally that provides personal or professional growth.

Coaching
"You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.” – Winston Churchill
Having spent over 25 years in the corporate world, I have seen changes, restructures, hiring sprees, and layoffs. More importantly, I have reinvented my career multiple times and worked in a variety of industries. Despite changes, reinvention and intervention, some things still hold true that can advance your career at any level:
The greatest benefits are the skills and knowledge that you learn. These skills and this knowledge are yours — yours to build on.
The greatest gifts in the workplace are your interactions with the co-workers you value, trust and enjoy. If you make lifelong friends, even better.
The greatest payback is when you are truly satisfied with the work you do and when you are appreciated for it.
